MEDIA-TECH 2010 Global Expo and Summit
This years Media-Tech event took place from May 19 to 21 in the Forum at Messe Frankfurt fairgrounds. On the 3 day equipment show dr. schwab IT showed its latest developments and addons for quality assurance and process optimization for all current and upcoming Blu-ray Disc formats.
As in the last years dr. schwab IT arranged at the second day of the event a Bavarian Party along with a raffle for a Blu-ray player. Visitors and exhibitors enjoyed freshly tapped beer, pretzels and other gastronomic specialties from our Bavarian homeland. (see image gallery at the right Bottom side of the page)
Our tombola for the visitors of our booth with a Blu-ray Disc player as first prize was won by Dr. Stefan Klahn (pictured on the right) from OK Media. In addition to this drawing we organized a second lottery, exclusively for the participants of our customer survey, held a few weeks before the show. Winner of the Grand prize, an ultra portable video projector, was Mr. Matthias Schulte from Arvato Digital Service.

Photovoltaic Technology Show 2010 Europe
At PHOTON‘s 6th Photovoltaic Technology Show 2010 Europe in Stuttgart/Germany dr. schwab IT showcased the latest version of its offline inspection system FPIlab. Several visitors used the opportunity to analyze their samples "on the fly" during the show, being very impressed by the various possibilities for indepth analysis of crysalline and thinfilm based solar cells.24th EU PVSEC, Germany
The 24th European Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference and Exhibition, the world´s largest exhibition specialized in Photovoltaics, took place in Hamburg/Germany from the 21st to 24th of September. dr. schwab IT attended this fair with its newest development, a modular measurement system for large scaled panels. The system showcased fast layer thickness and haze analysis over the complete distribution of the sample in both the inline and offline versions. Equipment manufacturers as well as visitors out of the panel manufacturing industry were impressed by the measurement capabilities and process control features of this system.
